The Manual of Style are a set of guidelines for editors of this wiki. This is mainly a guide for new contributors to this wiki but also a refresher for older contributors.
Tutorial
This section is to help editors of the SpongeBob Tower Defense Wiki understand the basic grounds of editing and adding content.
- Visual Editor: Suitable for editors new to the process of editing. It is commonly used to edit simple text, adding photos, videos, and infoboxes easily, and simulate how the page will look like to readers if the edit is saved. However, it is not suitable for simplifying the page's source (e.g. unneeded blank spaces) or for more advanced edit purposes.
- Source Editor: Used by more experienced editors. It is commonly used for the same purposes that the Visual Editor serves, but users can perform more complex actions (e.g. adding templates, changing text coloring). However, it is harder to understand for inexperienced editors due to its complexity.

Guidelines
- Please create articles with plenty of information: Please have lots of effort and info for our readers. Don't make any poorly made pages and use the right formatting. Doing so would result in your page being deleted.
- Blank pages: Do not create any pages that are blank.
- Images: Only in-game images should be used for Unit pages.
- Do follow community guidelines for formatting: When a community has established formatting, it’s important to adhere to that, especially when spoiler content is involved.
- Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
- Edit farming: Please don't make more then 20 edits in less then one hour.
- Adding incorrect/unconfirmed information: The act of adding information without reliable sources or incorrect information, which will mislead and confuse readers. If you have any ideas for the game, create a discussions post for it and post your post it in the "Game Theories and Ideas" category.
- Constant replacement of images/videos: Please do not replace perfectly fine images that meet the basic image requirements with your own. Only replace images if they are outdated or do not meet the standard requirements.
- Plagiarism: Please do not plagiarize other works without asking for permission/crediting. This includes pages from other wikis.
- Vandalism: Please don't vandalize other pages. That would be intentionally adding false information or spamming content on the articles. Doing so would lead to a warning/block.
- SpongeBob Tower Defense-related images and videos for pages must be set in max graphics settings.
- Please don't edit other peoples userpages: Please don't edit other peoples userpages without permission as it can get you warned/blocked.
- Writing style: Articles must be written in the correct style. Here is an example:
- Incorrect: Spongebob
- Correct: SpongeBob
- Placeholder images: If you can't find an image for a world or unit when creating a page about one, use the PlaceholderUnits.png file until you or another user can find one.
- Notice Templates: If a page meets the correct criteria, use the appropriate notice template at the top of the article.
